Doug Rittermann began his career at ECP Commercial in the fall of 2006. He worked directly under the Chairman, Joe Bonin. During this time, Doug was able to gain valuable knowledge and experience from the top broker in this market by working on complex real estate sale and lease transactions. Working under Joe, Doug handled the sales of a new property type, helping to make the market for the first industrial condominium units in East County. This was part of two properties totaling 200,000 square feet. In conjunction with this Doug worked closely with Joe on a $5,000,000 sale of a building in one of the properties to a governmental agency. Through hard work, extensive market knowledge, thorough research, and experience, Doug strives for excellence and produces top results for his clients. Doug has assisted both buyers and sellers with successfully achieving their long and short term financial and real estate goals, through property acquisitions and sales.

In January 2007, Doug partnered with Pat Geary to establish the Investment Division for ECP Commercial, specializing in the representation of owners in the sale, acquisition and exchange of commercial properties in the East and Central areas of San Diego County. 2007 proved to be a successful debut as the team closed more than $20 million worth of transactions.

Before coming to ECP, Doug worked for several years in the finance industry. Doug has an excellent understanding of the credit market, its importance in today’s world, and its impact on investment. Doug graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Communication and was a member of Scholar’s Program with focus on business, society, and the economy.
